Which are the standard EVA foam colours?
We have 8 standard EVA foam colours in stock: blue, green, yellow, orange, red, purple, white and black. 

Can we have own Pantone foam colour?
We have a range of +/- 300 other standard foam colours. Please advise your Pantone number so we can see if we have already made this colour (Minimum order quantity (MOQ) 5.000 HCPR08).

If we have not made this colour yet, then we can make your own Pantone colour foam by MOQ 65.000 HCPR08.

Note: on dark foam colours each colour must be printed twice.

Can we have multilayered foam?
Our prices are standard one foam colour. Multilayered foam (by laminating # foam colours) is possibe with an extra cost. Prices are available on request. A minimum order quantity is required: 5.000 pieces for HCPR08. 

Can we have a multicoloured Happy Cube puzzle?
Yes, we can make a multicoloured Happy Cube puzzle. This is when one puzzle contains 6 puzzlepieces in 6 different foam colours. This will be handmade, so colours do not have a fixed place in the puzzle. Prices are available on request.

Can we have a print on each puzzle piece (Happy Cube puzzle)?
Yes, we print Happy Cube puzzles flat. So by print on one side we mean that you can have a print on each puzzle piece and on 3 sides of the frame. On one small side of the frame of the Happy Cube puzzles our copyright (©) text is mentioned.

Why must white be printed twice?
White is not a good covering print colour. Therefore we suggest to print white twice to have a better result. 

General note: our EVA foam is soft material with small holes which absorbs the ink, so printing on Happy Cube puzzle foam is not the same as printing on paper.

Is a full colour print possible?
Yes, a full colour print (= digital print) is possible (not white), but only on white foam.

How can we supply artwork (screen printing)?
Artwork can be supplied as a print ready version on a template - vector file (eps – ai – pdf) / Adobe Illustrator CS6. Adaptations ‘after’ will be charged € 35 each.

How can we supply artwork (digital printing)?
Artwork can be supplied as a print ready version on a template - pixel high resolution pdf (300 dpi – exact dimensions). Adaptations ‘after’ will be charged € 35 each.

How do you cut the foam?
We do cutting by cutting knife. So for own design cutting a cutting knife must be made. We do also water cutting for large-sized puzzles (starting at Happy Cube puzzle 36 x 36 cm).

Can we receive a proof of print in advance?
We always send the final artwork by email in advance so you can give "good for printing". Adaptations ‘after’ will be charged € 35 each.

It is also possible to see a preproduction sample in advance. This implies extra time and costs because we have to install the machines for one piece. The costs are: 

• photo by email = + € 75 per print colour (screen print)
• photo by email = + € 75 (digital print )
• if we send a sample = + extra courier cost (minimum + € 25)

If we change the artwork after the preproduction sample is made, we charge an extra cost for the film. 

What is the delivery time?
For quantities up to 5.000 pieces, the production time is 2 à 3 weeks (production in Europe).

Can we have our own design / cutting (custom shape)?
Yes, you can have your own cutting design. If you want to make an offer, please send us your design with the exact dimensions.

Do you have testing lab rapports of EVA foam?
Our EVA foam is made in Europe. We have TÜV test reports:

• EEC Toy Directive 88/378 annexes II and IV (last modified by directive 93/68/EEC) relating to Safety of Toys
• ASTM F963-08 Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety
• Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008
• Directive 2005/84/EC relating to phthalates in toys
